One more day to OIAM finals!!!

Hello everyone! Are you guys excited bout OIAM finals 2mr lik us too?! Well, I'll feature some of the snippets of wat's happenin at the studio today as Sam, my mummy and Tracy brought me along wif them to Stadium Melawati, Shah Alam in the evening to see the settings, arrangements and rehearsal of the Stadium... U tink u might get lost for findin where is Stadium Melawati? Fret not, bcoz you'll eventually noe it when you reach Stadium Melawati! Why?! Because you will get to see the Giant Pow-Pow awaitin for you! (Too bad, I din get to snap tat cute pow-pow pict for you guys! Sorry!) So, please come 2mr if you wanna see the Giant Pow-Pow! ;D

Before that, office today was kinda empty n very quiet... Why? Coz all ad went over to the Stadium wif diff jobs to be done... And this whole week, everyone is very busy and stress (u can see ppl wif blk face, ppl got scolded for no reasons, sad n siao) due to preparation for OIAM finals this fri! O.O

Well, back to the Stadium, once we reach, we went over to the VVIP room, the deco is done partially but still nids a lot of improvements coz still cant feel the 'grand room' feel... =p Still can do lot better bcoz we still hav more than 24 hours to the real event! =D

Then, we went into the indoor stadium where we can see all Top 3 finalists practicing and rehearsing wif their very own new songs that they are goin to sing for us, Malaysian 2mr!
Tomok will perform Rindu Terhenti composed by Aubrey and written by Tinta S; Aweera will perform Ku Di Sini composed by Lin Li Zhen and written by Pacha, and Esther will sing Mimpiku composed by Sharon Paul and written by Mable Lew.
First in the dry run rehearsal who sang "Mimpi" is Esther, then by Tomok and last but not least, Aweera! And not to forget, even the hottest MC ever; Marion and Awal of OIAM is there too, practising their own part! =)

Durin the rehearsal of Aweera singin the "Mimpi", one of the camera crew who is walkin around wif the aid of Steadicam all of the sudden fell down when he was tryin to walk around Aweera to shoot his diff angle towards him on the stage... Everyone was shocked, inc the finalist's vocal performance mentor, Juwita Jalil who was sittin juz besides me! I guess he had been workin really hard and din take in enough water into the body o rest... Coz the floor on the stage dun hav any blockin... Anyways, dun worry, he's ok together wif the camera that still belted on him thanks to Steadicam. (which is kinda heavy though)

Then we get to see the reunion of all Top 12 finalists there on the stage preparing to sing us their songs! And before this, all the ladies of Top 12 finalists were also excited bout wearin designer's outfit for 2mr's show! Esp Hans who were seen jumpin up and down when being told bout tis great news! Hehe... So, do watch out who is wearing who's designer's outfit ya 2mr! ;)

I was lucky enuff to be in the backstage place for a while, where all the hardworkin crews are givin their best in this dry run rehearsal! =) Great job guys! This show wont be runnin without you guys! The back bones of everythin! =D

FYI, dry run aka blockin rehearsal is the basic actions of the Top 3 finalist that work out. The dry run prepurposes a detailed floor plan and thorough preparation by the director where he needs to watch Top 3 finalist actions as screen images, n not from the point of view (POV) of a live audience by adjusting their blocking and his imaged camera positions so that it is reasonably assured that it will achieve the visualized screen image in the actual camera rehearsal. - TV Prod Handbook by Zettl
